As part of the activities of #KiwiTeCuida, we present the second conversation with Shadia Asencio, editorial director of Kiwilimón, and Gina Rangel, chef and certified health coach from the Integrative Institute of Nutrition in New York. The conversation will focus on the benefits of consuming a diet rich in Omega 3, as a complementary part of the seafood mixiote prepared by chef Colibrí Jiménez. In this talk, relevant topics will be addressed, such as which foods are rich in Omega 3, as well as their multiple benefits to the body, such as metabolic benefits, as it prevents obesity, reduces high cholesterol (HDL), and high triglycerides. Additionally, a diet rich in Omega 3 reduces the risk of autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, colitis, type 1 diabetes, sclerosis, and psoriasis. It helps maintain healthy and strong joints and ligaments, promotes restorative sleep, and supports excellent cardiovascular health, including balanced blood pressure, optimal triglyceride levels, good cholesterol, and clean veins and arteries. And that's not all! A diet rich in Omega 3 promotes skin health and prevents premature aging. If you want to prepare a recipe rich in Omega 3, we invite you to make this seafood mixiote and we especially look forward to seeing you in the conversation from our official Instagram account, just click here. Remember that we have an appointment every Monday at 6:00 PM. We look forward to seeing you at #KiwiTeCuida where you will find all the recipes - with calorie and nutritional counts endorsed by the USDA -, tips and advice so you can lead a balanced, harmonious, and healthy lifestyle without sacrificing flavor or restricting your diet!
