The holidays are approaching and it's time to evolve. If you're going to have guests at home, these recommendations for festive and original cocktails will help liven up any Christmas gathering.
If there's a party, there must be cocktails. Now, we understand the fear of gaining a few pounds during this season with so many dinners and festive meals, which is why we decided to not only give you some tips for cocktails but also to make them light. With these drinks, you won't have to worry so much about the calorie content, allowing you more time to enjoy and share with your guests.
Apple
Use 6 ounces of natural apple juice and mix it with one and a half ounces of whiskey or bourbon, finishing with a teaspoon of honey, a cinnamon stick, a star anise, and apple slices. Use very cold juice to refresh the drink.
Choco-vodka
If you want something that fits the season and can be decorated to your liking, then this is the one. You need one and a half ounces of vodka, a quarter ounce of chocolate liqueur, half an ounce of coffee, and half an ounce of light coffee cream. Simply combine all the ingredients and top with a bit of whipped cream to finish.
Mint
If you have a sweet tooth, then gather two and a half ounces of prosecco, one and a half ounces of vodka (preferably vanilla-flavored), mint liqueur, and a splash of grenadine juice. Mixing all the ingredients will give you a sweet, low-calorie drink with a completely festive color.
Coconut
If you prefer more subtle flavors, then this cocktail will delight you. All you need is one and a half ounces of vodka and two ounces of coconut water. Your drink, which is best served chilled, will hydrate you and have an elegant transparency perfect for Christmas and New Year's Eve.
