5 Mexican women who revolutionized the gastronomic world

Congratulations women! Today we celebrate International Women's Day, a celebration to recognize all the working women striving to stand out in their professional, family, social, and partnership lives. We know that one of the icons representing women is the kitchen. Setting aside any sexism, we feel proud that there are women who want to dignify their gender through the creation of recipe channels, videos, books, etc., that speak of this wonderful world of food. Throughout human history, we have famous women who have demonstrated exceptional culinary skills, and today, as we celebrate International Women's Day, we want to introduce you to some personalities who have made a mark in the culinary world.   Patricia Quintana Patricia Quintana is a renowned chef who has been actively involved for 45 years in researching Mexican food. She has also contributed to rescuing the traditions and origins of indigenous gastronomy. She has published over 25 books considered Cultural Heritage of Mexico, which have been translated into other languages. She owns the restaurant Izote, has participated in various television programs, and has received numerous awards in this field. Without a doubt, her career and contributions to Mexican gastronomy deserve recognition. Mexican cooking recipes: Mexican Rice. A delicious rice boiled in tomato sauce. She has represented Mexico at international festivals in countries such as Germany, Spain, Portugal, and England. She has also participated in television programs on Once TV Mexico and the Gourmet channel. Additionally, she is considered by the Mexican Restaurant Association as one of the most successful chefs in Mexico City. Salad recipes: Grilled Chicken and Arugula Salad. Her career in gastronomy and oenology spans 12 years, during which she has worked as a journalist, writer, screenwriter, columnist, etc. She has also published in numerous magazines and has been a certified broadcaster for 4 years on the podcast Sommelier para llevar. She has won two awards and is an Ambassador of Mexican pastry worldwide. Interestingly, she had the opportunity to prepare desserts for celebrities, including Pope Benedict XVI.
