The most important thing when going out to eat is to be comfortable, with the menu, with the service, and of course, with oneself. If this means you prefer to be nude at the table, who are we to judge? A new restaurant in London offers you the opportunity to enjoy a delicious gourmet dinner “in the nude,” are you interested? Here’s everything you need to know about it.
The Bunyadi is the restaurant in question and will only be open for three months starting June 2016. At the establishment, you will have the opportunity and even be invited to shed all your clothes and consequently enjoy a delightful menu.
Upon arriving at the restaurant, diners will be taken to a changing area where they can remove all their garments, and they will have the chance to take off their underwear at the table. Long linen napkins are also provided so that you can protect yourself against spills and burns on parts of the body you wouldn’t want to suffer.
Similarly, the waiters will come in “minimal clothing” to match the occasion. Now, if you are very shy, it may relax you to know that the entire restaurant will have bamboo decorations, which will also be used as blinds to give diners a sense of privacy.
The place will have space for around 45 diners at a time, and dinner will cost 80 euros (about 1,600 Mexican pesos) for a fixed menu. The most surprising thing? The Bunyadi, which means the basic or essential in Indian culture, already has over 27,000 reservation requests and is growing.
