One of the concerns of the Federal Government is to eradicate hunger in Mexico, which is why on Monday, January 21, the National Crusade Against Hunger began in the municipality of Las Margaritas, Chiapas. The aim is to assist 7.4 million people living in extreme poverty and food insecurity.
This initiative, coordinated by SEDESOL, aims to achieve a goal of zero hunger, so that people have adequate food and nutrition, primarily addressing childhood malnutrition to improve the weight and height indicators of children. This goes hand in hand with increasing food production and farmers' income, minimizing losses of their harvest during storage, transport, distribution, and marketing.
The initiative has carried out various actions in which all of Mexico has had the opportunity to participate, so don't miss out and be part of the change that this country needs.
