A classic tuna salad always saves us when we're short on time, don’t want to go out to buy ingredients, or simply want something fresh and light to eat, so giving this dish a new twist is a great way to refresh it.Whether you like to eat it with crackers, in a sandwich, or with pita bread, we all have our own version of tuna salad, but with these 3 ways to add a new flavor, you’ll take it to a new level. 1. Crunchy celeryA bit of raw, crunchy celery is the simplest way to add a new flavor and a different texture to your tuna salad, and for an extra crunch, crushed potato chips. As a tip, don’t mix the ingredients too much and use good quality tuna, so it doesn’t turn into a mushy fish paste.2. Herbs, lots of herbsFor a fancier version of tuna salad, use homemade mayonnaise and add a bit of lemon juice, lemon zest, chili paste, olive oil, finely chopped celery  and plenty of herbs, like parsley, dill, and basil, to add more flavor.3. Half mustard, half mayonnaiseMayonnaise goes great with tuna salad because it prevents the tuna from drying out, but this also means using a large amount of mayonnaise, so to avoid that, you can substitute half the amount of mayonnaise with Dijon mustard and the result will be delicious, spicy, and slightly French, but not too far from the classic flavor. There are many ways to give a new flavor to tuna salad, and you can include whatever ingredients you want, like raw onion, bell pepper, or some pickles. What do you like to add to your tuna salad to give it a different touch?
