Do you want Burritos? That's what my mom asked me when I started living alone. She would have thought I would be cooking complex dishes every day or going to the market or supermarket every weekend to buy all the ingredients to prepare meals for the entire week.
Sometimes I do, but usually my lifestyle doesn't allow me to spend that much time in the kitchen, as I always wake up, go out to exercise, return home, and get ready to go to work. My daily routine is very limiting when it comes to cooking all the delicious things I would like to make. In light of this, I have found a way, among others, to eat healthily and achieve a balanced diet to avoid junk food on the street.
The solution: The famous burritos, which, while often considered fast food (which is true), doesn’t diminish the fact that when you make them at home, they can complement your diet and provide enough energy for those busy workdays.
Over time, I have developed such a skill for preparing burritos of different kinds; of course, I don't make them every day, but on special occasions when time is very scarce, I use my skills to have something delicious and nutritious to eat. That said, it’s always important to accompany burritos with some other nutritious food like a small salad, water, etc. It's always essential to balance nutrition.
