It's Monday, and we want to share this list of kitchen tricks or tips that can help you:
- When making fried tomatoes, if you want to reduce the acidity, add a teaspoon of sugar. This will make it smoother.
- To ensure the octopus turns out tender when cooking, it should be frozen for a few days or boiled with some cork stoppers.
- To avoid the unpleasant smell of vegetables when boiling them, especially cauliflower and cabbage, add a piece of bread crust to the pot.
- If you add raw onion to a salad, you can do 2 things half an hour before serving: 1. Soaking it in vinegar will reduce the sharpness of the onion; 2. and soaking it in water will make it less indigestible.
- To enhance the flavor of a leg of lamb, you can do the following: inject white wine or cognac into the leg using a syringe in various places before cooking.
- When boiling pasta, always add a splash of olive oil to the water. It will be finer and tastier. But remember not to use too much water.
