My baby won't eat

Just as I initially boasted about my daughter's appetite, I must confess, she now doesn't want to eat. I dedicate this entry to all the moms who at some point find themselves frustrated or worried that their children don't like food (especially when we prepare it at home with the best ingredients). Based on this concern, through trial and error, I have gathered a couple of tips to help your little ones start eating and enjoy food: 1. Dilute with milk- This tip applies to oatmeal, rice, and banana. When my daughter is not convinced by the texture, I try adding 1 Oz more of breast milk or formula; this makes the food have a more liquid consistency, and she likes it more. 2. Cook- This tip applies to fruits. If the fruits taste too sour for your little ones, cooking them for 15 minutes with a little water or apple juice removes the acidity. 3. Patience- Eating with a spoon is not the same as using a bottle, and giving our full attention and time to the children when they eat makes all the difference. Sometimes I dedicate up to 45 minutes to my daughter's mealtime, and I highly recommend it. 4. Creativity- Today there are various utensils to make food more fun, such as suction cups to place fruit inside or fun spoons. Also, letting babies explore the food, touch it, play with it, etc., helps them become familiar with it. Recommended cooking recipes: - Raspberry Puree - Apple Puree - Chicken Puree
