This dessert has thin layers of filo pastry that are alternated with crushed nuts and honey. Bride's fingers The styles of this dessert can vary, but the traditional ones from Lebanon are filled with cheese, walnuts, peanuts, and pistachios. They are prepared using filo pastry (which can be substituted with puff pastry). Another name for this treat is Zainab's finger. It is commonly served during the holy month of Ramadan and is accompanied by a cup of Arabic coffee. Arabic sweetsTheir appearance is similar to that of milk sweets, but Arabic sweets are sweetened with caramel and dates, and are also flavored with anise. In Mexico City, they can be found at the Praline candy store, where they are sold by the kilo.Turkish delightsThey are prepared with syrup and are coated in a thin layer of powdered sugar. Their consistency is gelatinous or soft caramel.
