Since this November 20 we celebrate the Mexican Revolution and many of its illustrious characters, such as Pancho Villa, were from the north, today we tempt you with some recipes from the driest part of the country. Among aguachiles and discadas, you will find recipes to make a meal that represents many of the leaders of the revolution. Here we leave you our top 5: northern recipes.
Discada Tacos
It is said that these delicious tacos got their name because the builders who worked near the train tracks used the same discs that protected the wheels of the trams as frying pans for their stews. This is one of the classic northern recipes; it is simple, very tasty, and abundant, making it sufficient for the whole family.
Northeastern Adobada Tacos
Another great classic of Regio cuisine is these marinated pork tacos in adobo.
