Even the best cook can lose the whole tomato. Literally. Don't worry if you made a mistake while preparing that delicious recipe. It happens to all of us.
Discover here the 5 most common mistakes when cooking, and how you can fix them:
You added too much salt
This is very simple. Just cut a potato into cubes and add it to the preparation. The potato will absorb the excess salt without affecting the flavor of the recipe.

Water fell into the chocolate
When melting chocolate in a double boiler, there is a risk that a few drops of water will fall into the bowl, automatically hardening the chocolate. If this happens, add a little butter to soften the chocolate.

You didn't separate the yolk from the white
When breaking an egg, it's not always easy to separate the yolks from the whites. Before you try to do it with a spoon, use an empty plastic bottle instead. You can separate the yolks and whites with minimal effort.

The food burned
Who hasn’t forgotten to turn off the stove on time? If this happens with lentils, add more water with lettuce leaves. Let it cook for just 5 more minutes and serve the lentils with a drizzle of olive oil.

The pasta overcooked
You can simulate the al dente effect by putting the pasta in a pan with olive oil. Fry it for a few minutes until it acquires a slightly firmer texture (never crunchy).
