I have always wondered how people who are happy all the time manage it. It's not that I'm bitter; it's just that sometimes, as a woman, you have not-so-great days. And no matter how many motivational quotes you see everywhere, they just don't work! So I decided to look for something different, and why not try it with food.
Just as my grandmother used to say, Love enters through the stomach. So... why not indulge myself a little with food? And it's not that I'm a glutton who always goes for junk food; it's just that while researching, I found some foods that can make you feel happier or at least help you relax and enjoy your day.
Cereal: If you are someone who wakes up on the wrong side of the bed, you can have a delicious cereal that has a high content of thiamine or vitamin B1, which helps us react with good humor all the time.
Chocolate: Whether in ice cream or a bar after a super busy day, it contains tryptophan (an amino acid that aids in the release of serotonin, which helps with anxiety, insomnia, and especially stress).
Seaweed: Apart from being good for weight loss and eliminating toxins, it contains iodine, which helps prevent fatigue and depression, especially when you are on your period.
Of course, there are other foods that help us stay in a good mood, such as fruits and vegetables, salmon, or strawberries, but your attitude towards life also matters a lot. You know, to avoid being irritable, you can eat some of these foods.
