4. Processed foods. One of the characteristics of this type of food is that they contain trans and saturated fats, which lead to increased overweight, making it important to moderate their consumption.
5. Eating to socialize. Food is the main excuse to show affection and other feelings during the holidays, which implies larger portions and dishes full of sugars, fats, and sodium.
As various nutrition specialists mention, the best recommendation during this winter season is moderation and an increase in physical activity, which will help prevent rapid weight gain.
