Daily Detox

Detoxing is not something to do once or twice a year. In fact, we can do it daily since there are toxins that enter our system every day. Consuming some toxins may not harm your body immediately, but when they accumulate, then we have problems. There are ways to avoid this situation if we just focus on gradually cleansing our body each day. It's not complicated at all; in fact, these are daily activities that we need to recognize as good and effective. Here they are:   Drink plenty of water You may have heard this tip to the point of exhaustion, but it's true. There’s no better way to stay clean and lubricated inside than with pure water. Drinking at least two liters daily helps improve the digestive system and the release of toxins, plus it aids the proper functioning of all the organs in the body.   Brush your body Before showering every morning, or at least three times a week, brush your entire body with a dry sponge to remove dead skin cells and reveal the new layer. Whenever fresh skin is exposed, your body will be able to release toxins more effectively and retain much less.   Drink a daily tea This cleansing method has been practiced for millennia across different continents. In Asia, it's a whole institution because they understand the benefits of tea for the body, specifically for detoxification. The most obvious option is green tea, but you can change your choice daily and select teas that help with specific areas such as stress, fatigue, or relaxation.   Eat a superfood every day This doesn't mean you have to become a nutrition fanatic, but a good way to keep toxins out is to include one of these ingredients in each of your meals. For example, eat fruits like strawberries for breakfast, prepare a spinach salad for lunch, and use a spice like cardamom for dinner to add flavor and energy to your immune system.   Choose organic Whenever possible, choose the organic option at the supermarket. It's true that they have more vitamins and nutrients, but what we appreciate most about these foods is that they lack the toxins provided by the chemical preservatives that give industrialized ingredients a longer shelf life.   Smoothie option Maybe you are not a vegetable lover, or perhaps it’s not in your habits to try to eat superfoods or very healthy products, so a daily smoothie will make your life much easier. In the morning, try making a smoothie that includes pineapple, spinach, and perhaps some fruits like blackberries and strawberries. This will not only give you energy but will also fill you with antioxidants and protect your body from being intoxicated throughout the day.   Smoothie Recipe Mint Mango Smoothie Ingredients: - 1 cup mango - 2 cups green lettuce - 5 large mint leaves - 1/2 lemon juice - 1/2 yellow lemon juice - 1 banana - water and ice to taste To see the steps for this recipe, click here.   Green Tea Smoothie with Banana and Blueberry Ingredients: -3 tablespoons of water -1 green tea bag - 2 teaspoons of honey - 1/2 cup of frozen blueberries - 1/2 banana - 3/4 cup of vanilla soy milk To see the steps for this recipe, click here.   Strawberry and Coconut Smoothie Recipe Ingredients: - 100 grams of ice - 500 grams of frozen strawberries - 500 milliliters of coconut milk - 3 packets of Splenda To see the procedure for this recipe, click here.   Check out the diet section that Kiwilimón has created for you.
