Legendary Diets

There are many types of diets, and the most important thing is always to keep in mind that health comes first. That said, some people need to change their bodies for one reason or another quite dramatically; here are some of the most famous examples. Many actors or celebrities need to change their appearance. Some do it for significant roles, while others simply want to have a better figure. The interesting thing is that some are so committed to their craft that they truly enter into types of super effective diets that are a bit demanding, to say the least. A good example is Christian Bale, the British actor known as Batman. If you remember his role in The Machinist, you might recall a scrawny man weighing almost 50 kg, which is quite impressive considering he is two meters tall. Later, to acquire the necessary body to embody the Bat-Man, his transformation involved not just exercise but also a very rigorous diet. The concept was to lose any type of fat and gain muscle, so the diet was based on obtaining carbohydrates only from fruits and vegetables and consuming very high-quality protein. Since Bale is a vegetarian, he consumed milk, cheese, and various types of beans to achieve the proper muscle mass. This method is highly recommended for muscle gain and can be used on training days; the good thing is that on rest days, it is enough to continue with a normal balanced diet, and there is no problem. Another actress who immerses herself in her roles is Reneé Zellweger. Many of us can remember her in her role as the slightly overweight Bridget Jones. That look was intentional, and she had to gain sizes through donuts and hamburgers daily. To regain her slender figure, it was enough to follow a fairly free diet. The idea of her regimen was to eat whenever and however much she wanted as long as she only consumed the indicated ingredients. These products included all kinds of meat, including chicken, beef, pork, and fish, as long as their preparation was not fried. Aside from the protein, any type of vegetables like onion, lettuce, tomato, carrot, etc., was allowed. The forbidden zone included flours, soy, beans, sugar, cream, cheese, and fruit. The interesting thing is that this diet lasts for 24 days, and after that, it must be stopped and followed by eating balanced meals to see results. It is recommended to exercise three days a week with this diet to make use of animal protein and tone up. A final example is a less famous one, but no less impressive. In the late '90s, Jared Fogle invented a more than unusual diet, transforming his body from nearly 300 kg to a common weight of 85 kg, all by eating sandwiches from the Subway chain. What he did was only order the vegetarian alternative each day or one that included some grilled meat with vegetables. In less than a year, he became a new man and also the spokesperson for that fast-food chain. It is known that there was an exercise routine alongside, and although it is not recommended to eat daily at a fast-food restaurant, this proves that it doesn't matter where you eat as long as you know how to eat well.   Any of these diets are extreme methods to achieve specific results, and whether using these or any other, it is essential to consult a nutrition specialist to ensure their safety for the body.   Diet Recipes Artichoke and Walnut Snack Recipe Ingredients: - 1 can of artichoke hearts (385 grams) - 1 cup of parsley - 3/4 cup of walnuts - 2 cloves of garlic - 2 tablespoons of lemon juice - 3/4 teaspoon of sea salt - 3/4 teaspoon of ground pepper - 1/4 cup of olive oil - 1/4 cup of water - 1 baguette sliced diagonally Click here to see the steps to prepare this recipe.   Grilled Panela Cheese with Dried Herbs Recipe Ingredients: - 200 grams of panela cheese - 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil - 2 pinches of dried basil - 2 pinches of dried oregano - 2 pinches of dried cumin - 2 pinches of dried parsley - 2 pinches of dried cilantro - 2 pinches of dried chives - 2 pinches of dried epazote - salt and pepper to taste Find the steps to prepare this recipe by clicking here.   Chicken Breast in Hibiscus and Ancho Chile Sauce with Fresh Quelites Salad Recipe Ingredients: - 4 chicken breasts of 125 grams each - salt to taste (for seasoning) - pepper to taste (for seasoning) - 2 tablespoons of oil for the sauce - 2 tablespoons of chopped onion, for the sauce - 2 cups of unsweetened hibiscus water for the sauce - 2 tablespoons of soy sauce for the sauce - 1/2 cup of Granulated Splenda, for the sauce - 1 ancho chile, deseeded and sliced, for the sauce - 1 tablespoon of white vinegar for the sauce - 3 tablespoons of cornstarch for the sauce - 1 cup of fresh purslane, washed and disinfected, for the salad - 1 cup of fresh romerito, washed and disinfected, for the salad - 1 cup of fresh watercress, washed and disinfected, for the salad - 2 tablespoons of olive oil for the salad - 1/2 lemon for the salad To see the steps to prepare this recipe click here.   Dare to try one of these diets?
