If you want to avoid contaminants as much as possible, you might consider buying organic versions of some of the foods on the “worst” list, especially if they are imported. By eating only from the list of least contaminated, you would reduce your daily pesticide consumption by more than 90%, but we know this would be impossible, so simply try to incorporate more foods from the second list into your diet.
