Try the best chiles en nogada and pair it with mezcal, pulque, tequila, and even coffee and chocolate. Don't miss the best festival events in September! International Chile en Nogada Festival This festival, originated in Guadalajara, brings together the best restaurants from 12 states of the country and 4 countries. From August 18 to September 18 at different restaurants in Hidalgo, CDMX, Querétaro, and Guadalajara, among others. Gourmet Festival Reserva de Sabores In this edition of the Gourmet Festival Reserva de Sabores, a reinterpretation of the torta ahogada will be made by eight talented chefs such as Mikel Alonso from Casa Biko, Arturo Fernández from Raíz, Benito Molina, and Solange Muris from Manzanilla, among others. The cost of the event is 700 pesos per person and for the first time, it will be an event open to the public. When and where? At Hacienda de los Morales, Juan Vázquez de Mella 525, Polanco, next Saturday, September 3. Coffee and Chocolate Fest If you are a lover of chocolate and coffee, you cannot miss this event that will feature various activities, workshops, conferences, and even philosophical cafés, not to mention that producers will give a brief talk about the production, properties, benefits, and tips for consuming these products. When and where? On September 3 and 4 starting at 2 pm at the Palacio de Autonomía UNAM, Licenciado Primo Verdad No. 2, Centro Histórico. Agave Fest Because you can't shout “¡Viva México!” without a good tequila, be sure to go to the Agave Fest, where small and large producers will present products such as sotol, raicilla, bacanora, mezcal, pulque, tequila, and other agave derivatives. Here you can taste the drinks and discover which one is your favorite! When and where? From Thursday, September 8 to Saturday, September 10, from 11 am to 8 pm at the Pepsi Center.
