By Adriana sanchez - 2022-03-29T10:37:02Z
The premium application of kiwilimón, KiwiPro, organized its first in-person event in collaboration with the Spanish winery Izadi, treating users to a wonderful tasting, sharing the best of their reserve. The event was hosted by Alejandro Gil, Expert Manager of the Winery and Shadia Asencio, Editorial Director of kiwilimón. Alejandro began with a brief overview of the origin of Izadi Wineries, which was founded in 1987 by Gonzalo Antón, National Gastronomy Award winner and owner of the famous Zaldiaran. After highlighting some values of the company such as eco-responsibility, prestige, quality, and passion, Alejandro started the tasting, presenting the 3 star wines of the night: Larrosa Blanca, a white wine with an intense aroma of white fruit and light floral notes; Larrosa Rosé, a rosé wine with fresh aromas of cherry, pear, and apple, and Izadi Reserva, the best-selling red wine of the brand in Mexico, known for its beautiful black and red currant fruits, high-quality unlit cigar tobacco, licorice, and hints of loamy soil. Meanwhile, Shadia explained the benefits of wine pairing and how each sip highlighted some virtues of the canapés served to accompany the evening, such as ricotta cheese, pear, and walnut tapas for Larrosa Blanca, goat cheese with figs for Larrosa Rosé, and cheese croquettes for Izadi Reserva, among others. In addition to the pro users, we had the presence of some important personalities from the culinary industry in Mexico City such as entrepreneur Iliana Silva, foodie Joe Morales, and chef Andrés Santoyo. At the end of the night, Izadi Wineries gifted a Larrosa Rosé to each attendee to thank them for their presence and loyalty to the premium kiwilimón application. Just like this, many more exclusive experiences are coming to delight pro users interested in elevating their culinary expectations to another level, of course, with the help of KiwiPro.
