Month after month, the kiwilimón team recommends great options for dining out with friends, for a romantic date, or for a family outing. In this month of June, we tell you about incredible places that seem like a fantasy, invite you on a journey through the world of mycology, and much more. 1. TencüiThis house hides one of the best-kept secrets of Santa María la Ribera: Tencüi. This restaurant not only offers a menu dedicated to mushrooms but is also decorated with mushrooms and even has an in-house mycologist. Their menu will take you on a journey through different varieties of mushrooms, where you'll find options with a very Mexican touch, but also international flavors. Ask about their Taco Tuesdays, a complete menu for only $390. It’s worth mentioning that the atmosphere is very relaxed, the service is friendly, and the proposal is innovative. If you go after 5 or 6 PM, remember to make your reservation.Recommended by Gretel Chávez, Editorial Coordinator.2. Down The Rabbit HoleIf you're a fan of Alice in Wonderland, you can't miss this place inspired by her. This café is located in Colonia Álamos and its menu offers crepes, coffee, cookies, and our star recommendation: apple cinnamon chai. Besides enjoying great flavors, you can also take photos in the themed corners of the place. This place will make your inner child happy!Recommended by Nadia Brito, Digital Planner & Trafficker. You can also read: Our favorites from April3. Pingo GrillPingo Grill is an excellent place to visit with your children, as it has a play area for kids and there is also staff to help take care of them while you eat and enjoy a good cocktail. The culinary proposal mainly focuses on meats and seafood. I recommend ordering the octopus chicharrón and the guacamole. The cocktails are 3 for 2, so you can't miss the offer.Recommended by Alexandra Romero, Chef.4. Fortunata CaféFortunata is a small, cozy café full of greenery, where you can find breakfasts that warm the soul. Don't miss their delicious lavender cake paired with excellent coffee and either Benedict eggs or a smoked salmon bagel. It's worth mentioning that they have an excellent quality-price ratio. The average cost per person is between $250 and $300.Recommended by Yamilette González, Chef Coordinator. 5. Marco’s PizzaWho doesn't love pizza? If you're one of those people who is always on the hunt for the best pizza in CDMX, I have good news for you: Marco's Pizza has arrived in Mexico, which is the most popular Italian-inspired pizza chain in the United States, Bahamas, and Puerto Rico. This detail makes their pizzas different from everything you've tried in the city, as they take care of every detail in the production, from the quality of the ingredients that include classic ham and mozzarella cheese to aged pepperoni known as Old World Pepperoni, Parmesan cheese, garlic oil, and a myriad of delights. The prices of the pizzas range from $100.00 to $400.00 depending on the size and ingredients. They are located at Mariano Escobedo 456, across from Liverpool in Polanco, and they also offer delivery service. I recommend trying their MAGNIFICENT PEPPERONI pizza, which features Pepperoni, our exclusive Old World Pepperoni®, romesan seasoning, original sauce, and three exclusive cheeses… It’s finger-licking good!Price range: From $200 to $500 pesos M/NRecommended by Daniela Bosch, Editorial & Marketing Manager.Continue reading: Our favorites from May
