Mexico City celebrated the second edition of What do you taste like #CDMX 2021, a gastronomic festival that began as an initiative to reactivate the industry and now showcased the best of the culinary scene in the city from Monday, November 22 to Sunday, November 28, 2021. On this occasion, more than 60 bars and restaurants joined to prepare exclusive menus, highlighting the best proposals from their renowned chefs or young talents with a common goal: to invite locals, tourists, and foreigners to enjoy the culinary scene that makes Mexico City the best gastronomic destination in the country. What do you taste like #CDMX 2021 featured unique experiences, pop-up restaurants, and takeovers in different parts of the city to surprise diners in an unprecedented way. The stars of each restaurant offered a 3-course menu with their signature dish or cocktail at an accessible price. There was also a special participation from Prime Time, Prime Wine,” a Thanksgiving celebration at l'Hermitage, the new venue of sommelier Miguel Angel Cooly, as well as Festival Climats, where the importer Climats will present more than 20 labels from its selection of French wines.Similarly, What do you taste like partnered with great pillars of the gastronomic industry in Mexico such as Barra México, a festival of bartenders and mixology; Open Table, the digital platform that connects restaurants and diners for one-click contact with interested parties; and finally, US MEXICO, a strong ally of the Mexican culinary scene.Undoubtedly, the last edition of What do you taste like was a resounding success and we can't wait to see how it will reinvent itself next year.
