Not many consider that drinking liquids is not the only way to hydrate; in fact, much of the daily water intake we need comes from food. Now, not all foods have the same amount of H2O, and that’s why today we’ll tell you about super hydrating ingredients and how the idea of drinking two liters of water a day may be a myth.
The rule has always been that you should drink at least two liters of water a day, which is equivalent to 8 glasses, and that is true, but what they haven’t told you is that much of that water comes from your diet. Just over 20% of our water intake comes from what we eat, which is why it’s okay if you skip a couple of glasses of water, as long as you consume it in solid form.
