The truth about exercise belts

When I started going to the gym, I used a belt that made me sweat a lot. According to me, it made my waist smaller because afterwards I measured myself and had a couple of centimeters less, but then, like magic, they went back up. I didn't understand what was happening until I asked a trainer at the gym, and he told me that those centimeters lost were the result of water loss, and that as soon as those fluids are replenished, the measurements return. What horror! I was never going to achieve a smaller waist. After that, I never used a belt again. But I thought it was a good idea to tell you this because, as you know, I've returned to my exercise routine, and at the gym, I see many people using them, and I feel like telling them that they are really not going to achieve those extra centimeters lost. And not only that, but I remember my trainer told me that it limits the effectiveness of exercises because it reduces your energy and the intensity of your workout. So now you know, the next time you go to the gym, leave your belt at home and focus on doing your exercise routine correctly. See original article.
