We would like to share with you how our winning users celebrated the Grito de Independencia: 1. Colorful Balloons, shared by Yamilette González Velázquez Let everyone in each house have a balloon in red, green, or white, and at the moment of the shout, let it escape into the sky throughout the country. 2. With Family, shared by María Luisa Castro López First of all, instilling in my children the love for the country, being good students, children, and citizens. At home, we celebrate with traditional food, whether it's pozole, barbecue, tostadas, and a good mariachi. 3. With Jelly Shots, shared by Gabriela del Carmen Reyes Carreño Making jelly shots in Mexican colors in lemon peels to simulate a watermelon, also playing Lotería and as a prize, a raffle number to include typical Mexican games at the party. The original touch we added is that people arrived as characters from Independence without being the typical Adelita and Miguel Hidalgo. 4. Mexican Menu, shared by Karla Adriana Pérez Lares Cucumber shots with Tajín, peeling them from the tip and leaving a small piece to carefully remove the filling, on the edge Tajín and a little lemon, and filling them with tequila and trimming the other end so they can stand like little glasses. Also, muffins with Mexican motifs (colored Mexican frosting) and even chocolate muffins with a touch of árbol chili, delicious, or for my guests, cookies in the shape of bells, flags, and all those things. 5. Tricolor Desserts shared by Dulce Maria García Cano García I came up with making colored cupcakes, green, white, and red, of course sweetened with Splenda and using them to form a flag and eat them after dinner as dessert. 6. Family Game: Typical Costumes, shared by Mariana Ruiz Morales You need: - A map of Mexico divided by states, the bigger, the better. - Various garments and items to dress up (hats, mustaches, yarn braids, jorongos or sarapes, rebozos), fabric flowers, feathers, fabrics of various colors. Dynamic: Two teams are made. One member of the team blindfolds themselves and randomly chooses a state in the country by placing their finger on the map. The team members must use the garments and various items to dress up as closely as possible to the typical costumes of that state. The team that finishes dressing up first shouts Viva México and stops the time. The best-dressed team gets a point, and the one that finished first also gets a point. The game is repeated as many times as they want and the team with the most points wins.
