Guacamole is a sauce (also known as an appetizer) from Mexico that is used in many countries around the world. The original recipe for guacamole for many years is based on avocado, water, and salt; everything is mashed in a molcajete. Nowadays, some additional ingredients have been integrated, resulting in a wide variety of guacamoles. Now that the patriotic month is approaching, we can consider preparing a good guacamole, purely originating from Mexico, which we can serve with some Mexican dishes. Therefore, here we tell you how to prepare a totally original guacamole. The essential ingredients are: avocados, tomatoes, onion, cilantro, a lime, green chili, and salt. The molcajete or a similar tool (not a blender) will be essential. For the preparation, the avocados should be properly peeled, the tomatoes, cilantro, and onion should be chopped. The chili is cut into thin slices. Everything is placed in the molcajete and mashed until a consistent mixture is obtained. Then, a little lime and salt (to taste) are added, and it's ready. It should be taken into account that depending on the taste of the sauce, if you want it spicy or not, you should add one or several green chilies.
