Oktoberfest, the German festival also in Mexico

The Oktoberfest, or Beer Festival in Munich, is legendary and world-famous. The festival took place (in Germany) from September 22 to October 7, and it was inaugurated by tapping the first keg of beer. For Mexico, the Oktoberfest will be held next Sunday, October 28, starting at 10 AM. Oktoberfest is a great popular celebration that has been held since 1810 in the Theresienwiese meadow on the west side of Munich, Germany. Year after year, more than 6 million people visit. The beer stalls and carousel rides found everywhere promise a fun atmosphere during the 2 weeks of festivities. The celebration unfolds with enthusiasm, featuring music and traditional costumes, with sausages, pretzels, and all the beer imaginable.
