Traditional food for a card game at home usually consists of a variety of snacks. These appetizers should be available throughout the night, and you should also provide water and coffee to complement the food.
Main dishes during a card game often include snacks, pizza, olives, ham, hamburgers, or hot dogs. To ensure the host doesn't have to step away from the game frequently, it's better to have something pre-cooked.
Making your own snacks, or ham and chorizo tacos, usually works very well. Preparing a full meal is not recommended.
Be careful with condiments like mayonnaise and do not leave food out of the refrigerator for long periods.
Probably the simplest option is to make snacks that don't stain the cards too much and that everyone can touch with their own hands.
Check out the list of snacks and appetizers we have for that card night with your friends or family.
