Then don’t miss these 5 New Year rituals we have for you, as they all use ingredients you probably have in your kitchen. Let’s get to work!  12 Green Grapes Definitely, this ritual is the most well-known. In Mexico and other parts of the world, it is customary to eat 12 green grapes during the last 12 seconds of the old year. However, you must make a wish for each grape. Remember that each of these wishes can come true if you put in a lot of effort and send good vibes to the universe. On the other hand, be very careful when eating the fruits and chew them well.  Do you already have your list of 12 wishes? Lentils Another of the most popular rituals is to cook and eat lentils on December 31st. In many cultures, these legumes are believed to represent abundance, so you cannot skip eating them to attract good things for the coming year. To welcome the new year, you can make lentils as you always do or you can add a touch of chorizo or plantain. However, this year we got very creative at kiwilimón and created this recipe for abundance lentils. Try them, fall in love with their flavor, and attract money with just one dish! See more: 4 creative ways to eat grapes on New Year’sCinnamon Powder Another ritual for abundance that you cannot miss trying this year-end is this one with cinnamon, and you can do it in just a couple of minutes.  For this ritual, you should take a handful of cinnamon in the palm of your hand, step outside your house, and stand at the entrance, facing inward. Then blow the cinnamon so that it comes from outside to inside, allowing abundance and money to enter your home.  Although we know no one likes a mess, it is important that you do not sweep or clean the cinnamon, as that would cause the New Year ritual to lose its effectiveness.  Rosemary Bath If you want love and happiness to knock on your door next year, then you need to take this rosemary bath with rose petals, cinnamon, and sugar. This ritual serves to cleanse energies and attract sweetness into your life. To do it, just put a large pot of water to boil and add some sprigs of rosemary, the petals of a couple of roses, a stick of cinnamon, and a few tablespoons of sugar. Let it boil for about 10 minutes, let it cool, and bathe with the water while manifesting and visualizing what you want for the next year.  Laurel Leaves If you have laurel leaves in your kitchen, then don’t hesitate any longer and carry out this ritual for New Year to make all your dreams come true.  What you need to do is take a laurel leaf, then carefully write a wish on the leaf and place it under your pillow.  For this ritual, we recommend using short phrases like new job, stable relationship, health, etc. This way, you avoid writing too much text on the leaf and causing it to break.  As you can see, New Year rituals are very varied, and there are many options beyond going around the block with a suitcase in hand or wearing red underwear for love.  Take a look in your pantry or refrigerator, let yourself be carried away by good vibes, and manifest what you truly desire with these food rituals. Happy New Year from your friends at kiwilimón!  Continue reading: 9 desserts with grapes for New Year
