Vacations are here, and with them come days by the pool and beach. Increase the safety of your little ones both in and out of the water. Discover our best tips for a happy and safe vacation.
The safety of the little ones at the beach and pool is very important. If your child cannot swim, they should wear a floating device.
As a mom, you should not only take care of their sun protection but also consider the following points:
- Check that the water is properly maintained and has the least amount of chlorine.
- Shower your child before entering the pool.
- Prevent them from drinking pool water.
- Do not let them into the water with absorbent diapers as these inflate, making them heavy and cumbersome. Instead, use disposable swim diapers designed for water activities.
- Avoid letting your little one spend too much time in the water.
- Teach your child about behaviors that can be dangerous in a pool, such as jumping from the edge or diving in irresponsibly.
- Never take your eyes off your little one. If they are older, you can leave them alone, but always supervise them from a distance.
