There's nothing more unpleasant, unsexy, and passion-killing than bad breath... yuck! And worst of all, sometimes brushing your teeth isn't enough, so here are 7 tips to avoid it:
-Chewing sugar-free mint gum will help stimulate saliva in your mouth, and saliva helps eliminate germs or food that may be stuck there.
-Drinking water also helps a lot, as it keeps your mouth hydrated and obviously rinses it out naturally.
-Not drinking coffee, quitting smoking, or avoiding alcohol helps keep bacteria out of your mouth.
-Eating fiber helps prevent bad breath because often poor digestion or constipation can cause your mouth to smell bad.
-Stop eating foods that smell bad like onion, garlic, strong cheese, or tuna, and also avoid high-protein, low-carbohydrate diets.
-If you want fresh breath, soak parsley stems in vinegar, then chew and eat them. You can also use mint leaves.
-You can try taking vitamins like B3 or B6; B-complex vitamins are very helpful in preventing bad breath.
These are some things you can do to prevent your mouth from smelling, and of course, don't forget to brush your teeth after every meal, brush your tongue, use dental floss, and mouthwash.
