Tips for Bikini Season
The bikini season, or better known as vacation, is about to begin. This time has turned into two months of stress, and it doesn't have to be that way. Our friends at ActitudFem share their tips for arriving at bikini season with a body that will make all your friends envious. The main thing to look good in your favorite bikini is nutrition, and no starving yourself; a balanced diet and LOTS of water can make a big difference. But if you want some extra help, here are some super effective (and healthy) tips for bikini season.
Avoid excess carbohydrates. We recommend big plates of rice and pasta as a main dish unless they contain protein, which helps digest the energy from carbohydrates more efficiently, thus avoiding bloating.
Against cellulite. Eat vegetables rich in antioxidants and omega-3, which help reduce the appearance of cellulite. Coffee also helps reduce orange peel skin, in addition to acting as a light and natural diuretic.
Watch out for raw vegetables. Although not everyone is affected, if you know there are certain raw vegetables that cause bloating, try eating them steamed, so you can get the nutrients without the risk of bloating.
Start the day right. Don’t forget that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and what will keep your appetite in check. Natural Greek yogurt, strawberries, raspberries, almonds, antioxidants, fiber, or proteins are excellent options.
Crunchy fruits. Crunchy fruits have more fiber, so always choose them first.
Goodbye to sugar. Yes, it sounds super cliché, but a sugar-free diet helps control our blood levels, which will prevent excessive and strange cravings.
