The wavy texture in hair has ruled for at least the last decade, and achieving it naturally, like the one we get when we go to the sea, is very simple with a mixture of salt and water.Sea water or salt water contains tiny crystals that remain in your hair, so when you use it, the cuticles of the strands fill with hydrogen and salt. As a result, the hair gains volume and texture, which is why these types of products have become very popular for achieving those casual waves known as beach waves. You can buy sea water at the supermarket, but you can also make a homemade version very easily to apply to your hair and achieve this texture. What you need is the following:1 tablespoon of sea salt (or Epsom salt)1 cup of hot water1 teaspoon of olive oil, or extra virgin coconut oil (for thick, dry, or curly hair)Essential oil for fragrance (optional)To make your sea water, heat the water over the stove until it boils so that the salt dissolves completely. Add the salt and mix well until there are no more floating crystals. Transfer the mixture to a spray bottle, add the oil and essential oil drops if you want it to have a nice scent, shake the bottle, and you're done. When applying it, remember to shake it before each use since if you used the oil, it is likely to separate from the mixture. Spray on damp hair, only from mid-length to ends, and use your hands to scrunch the hair and add texture. You can also use a hairdryer for more volume or simply let it dry naturally.
