This week we bring you more cooking tricks or tips that may be useful for some occasion.
We recommend that you write them down in a notebook, on your computer, or remember that you can look for them here whenever you need them.
- To prevent sausages from bursting while frying, pierce them with a fork beforehand.
- To keep French bread crispy, we should isolate it from air and humidity with a paper bag. We can also wrap it in a clean cloth and store it in the least cold part of the freezer.
- To make rice fluffy, wash it three times before cooking; this removes the starch. It will also make it less fattening.
- Due to its shape and the material it is made of, a wok requires much less oil for cooking.
- To prevent raw vegetable salads from wilting, dress them at the table or when serving.
- To tenderize boiled beef, add ice to the boiling water.
- Soak the meat you are going to roast in brine overnight, until it is covered. In the morning, bake the meat; it will form a crispy crust.
