Using a Pressure Cooker® is very easy, but you need to know some tips to master it and use it safely. Therefore, here are some tips so you won’t have any problems at home and can handle this useful instrument at your pleasure. If you follow these tips, in addition to cooking easily and safely, your Pressure Cooker® will have a much longer lifespan: 1.- Always clean the safety valve to avoid blockages. 2.- Do not fill the pot with food or liquids to its maximum capacity to prevent the valve from getting clogged. 3.- Do not exceed two-thirds of its capacity, as filling it to the top may cause liquid to spill from one of the valves. 4.- Always add a minimum of at least 200 ml of liquid. 5.- Do not put the pot on the heat until you are sure it has been closed properly. 6.- Remember to lower the heat to a medium temperature once the valve has risen. 7.- Never open the pot until all the steam has been expelled. You need to wait for the valve to drop. 8.- Do not use the Pressure Cooker® if you notice any leaks from the seal or if the lid does not close tightly. It could run out of liquid inside and burn the food. 9.- Keep your Pressure Cooker® and all its accessories in good condition; top brands like Ekco and Presto recommend changing the seals every 1 or 2 years, depending on usage.   Enjoy all the benefits of cooking with Pressure Cookers® from Ekco and Presto; everything you need to know can be found at www.la-vasconia.com.mx     Recipes with Pressure Cooker®   Express Onion Soup   Queretano Salpicón   Impossible Cake Express     Did you know how to take care of your Pressure Cooker®?
