Making chocolate ganache for a pie or pudding may seem like a simple task, but it's actually better to follow some tips to get it just right if you don't have much practice yet.
A fun idea to brighten up our desserts or a quick option if you want to add a topping to breads is this quick and easy chocolate ganache.
Ingredients:
- 250 ml of cream
- 340 gr of finely chopped couverture chocolate (it's important to use this type of chocolate, as it melts more easily and provides a creamier consistency).
Preparation:
- In a saucepan, add the cream and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- Once it boils, remove from heat and add the chocolate (but do not stir). Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- With a wooden spoon, stir well until the chocolate melts completely and forms a creamy mixture.
This ganache works great on muffins, pies, cakes, puddings, and anything you want to add a touch of chocolate to.
