Tip: How to melt chocolate?

Melt chocolate can be a bit tricky. Follow these steps to get it just right! Step 1: Cut the chocolate into evenly sized pieces and place them in a saucepan that fits inside another pot Step 2: Fill the bottom pot halfway with water and wait for it to boil. Place the other saucepan on top (it should not touch the water). Step 3: Stir with a metal spoon until melted. Do not use wooden or plastic spoons, as they absorb moisture and cause the chocolate to harden. In an emergency, you can also melt it in the microwave: 1. Place the chopped chocolate in a container and microwave it for 1 minute on medium heat, then take it out and stir. 2. Then put it back in for 15 seconds at a time, stirring after each interval until the chocolate is melted.
