Sometimes when we cook, the results are not what we really desired. Here are some tips to solve those little details when cooking.
Too much fat
- When there is too much fat, once the dish is cooked, place it in the refrigerator; let it cool until the fat hardens on the surface. Then, remove the fat with a spoon.
- During the preparation of the food, if you notice that there is an excess of fat, what you can do is add ice cubes to the food. The fat adheres to them. Alternatively, you can pass a lettuce leaf over the surface of the food to remove the fat.
Salty food
- In the case of cooking vegetables and we have added too much salt, the recommendation is to pour boiling water over the boiled vegetables.
- For soups, you can add a raw potato, let it boil, and then discard the potato. Alternatively, you can prepare another portion without salt and mix it with the first one.
