Listening to music that makes us vibrate, watching a movie that warms our hearts, cooking something delicious, or having a spa day at home with exfoliation, natural face masks, and a relaxing massage is one of the best ways to enjoy free time at home and give ourselves a good dose of self-love. As you can see, there are many ways to pamper ourselves, but undoubtedly, one of the favorites is having a spa day at home, an alternative as relaxing as going to a real spa, but from the comfort of your own home. Although it might seem a bit complicated to think about creating a spa at home, the reality is that it is super easy to achieve since many of the necessary items you already have right there, and we will show you what they are below. Ready to relax like never before? Follow these simple steps to create a homemade spa.Prepare the environmentTo relax properly, you need to prepare the ideal environment, and to achieve this, you’ll need to choose a suitable room, it can be the bathroom or your own bedroom. Also, pick a few candles, you can use aroma diffusers or light incense, and don’t forget a playlist with your favorite music. Make sure to wear comfortable clothing and have a clean towel on hand to dry yourself.Pamper your skin The next step to enjoy the home spa is to exfoliate your skin to remove dead cells and look radiant. You can do this with a bit of lemon, sugar, honey, and jojoba for your hands, a mixture of coffee grounds, the leftover coffee grounds from your coffee maker or instant coffee, with natural yogurt for your body, and oatmeal with honey for your face. Remember to rinse with warm water.Revitalize your hair Your hair is one of the parts of your body that gets damaged most easily, and many times we neglect it, which is why we present the ideal way to care for it and give it a break from the dryer, beauty products, and pollution. Make a mixture with half a ripe avocado, two egg yolks, and a few drops of olive oil; apply it to your hair, put on a shower cap, or if you don’t have one, a plastic bag, let it sit for 15 minutes and rinse with plenty of water.Soothe your complexion To make your face feel pampered, we recommend a relaxing mask that will leave your skin very soft. You only need to blend ½ cucumber with 1/4 cup of milk, 1 tablespoon of honey, and another of brown sugar and apply it to your face for 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water, preferably cold.  Relax your body Who says you need a professional masseuse to bring you calm? You can give yourself a relaxing massage like an expert; apply some essential oil or cream to your hands and rub in circular motions from your feet upwards, against the direction of circulation. Energize your spirit Finish your ritual with a well-deserved bath alternating the water temperature. You can apply a mixture of oatmeal, sea salt, and almond oil all over your body if you want to fill yourself with energy and revitalize your spirit. Don’t forget to rinse with water and dry yourself with a clean towel.
