Classic Margarita Recipe

  • 2 ounces Tequila
  • 1 ounce orange liqueur
  • 2 ounces lime juice
  • 1 ounce simple syrup
  • ice cubes, in cubes
  • lime juice, for rimming
  • salt, for rimming
  • lime, lemon slice, for garnish

  • Add the ice, tequila, orange liqueur, lemon juice, and simple syrup to a shaker.
  • Shake for a few seconds.
  • Place ice in a previously rimmed Old Fashioned glass with lemon and salt and pour the mixture.
  • To finish, garnish the margarita with a lemon slice.
