Cranberry Mojito

The Christmas dinner will be complete with a cocktail classic. Prepare this cranberry mojito recipe and you will have a very refreshing drink that will pair well with your dishes. For a more concentrated flavor, use spiced rum, and if you wish, you can substitute mint for spearmint.

  • 1/2 cups cranberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cups spearmint
  • 1/2 cups lime juice
  • ice cubes
  • 4 ounces white rum
  • 2 cans Canada Dry® Cranberry Ginger Ale
  • lime, slices, for garnish
  • cherries, for garnish

  • In a small pot, cook the cranberries with the sugar and water for 10 minutes over medium heat, until the cranberries have softened. Let cool, blend, and set aside.
  • In a glass, pour the cranberry concentrate, the mint, the lemon juice, and gently muddle the mint. Add ice, the rum, and top with Canada Dry® Cranberry Ginger Ale.
  • Garnish with a slice of lemon and cherries.
