1 bunch peppermint
2 teaspoons sugar
1 lemon
1 1/2 white rum
soda, lemon-flavored tonic
ice cubes, to taste

Place the mint leaves in a glass, the sugar, half a lime cut into four, and squeeze in the other half. Muddle the ingredients in the glass.
Place the desired amount of ice and pour in the rum and soda or tonic water.
Mix well, serve immediately.
