Easy Shrimp Michelada

This delicious shrimp michelada is perfect for keeping you cool and satisfying your cravings. It contains ingredients like cucumber, jicama, and pineapple that you will love, filled with explosive and delicious flavors along with a spicy serrano chili seasoning.

  • 1/2 cups lime juice
  • 2 serrano chiles
  • 1 cup cilantro

  • 1/2 cups red onion, sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups pink shrimp
  • lime juice, for rimming

  • chile powder, for rimming
  • 1/4 teaspoons seasoning sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 bottle lager beer
  • 1/2 cups jicama
  • 1/2 cups cucumber
  • 1/2 cups pineapple
  • tortilla chips, for the nachos
  • cucumber, for decoration

  • Blend the lime juice with serrano chili, cilantro, and season with salt and pepper for a couple of minutes.
  • In a bowl, place the shrimp, red onion, and pour the lime juice that you blended earlier. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  • To rim the glass, pour lime juice on one plate, salt on another, and chili powder on a third. With the glass inverted, moisten the rim with lime juice and then place it on the salt and chili powder.
  • Once the glass is rimmed, pour in the seasoned juice, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce; tilt the glass and carefully add the beer to avoid excessive foam; fill ¾ of the glass. Add a tablespoon and a half of the liquid in which the shrimp was marinated.
  • Add the jicama, cucumber, and pineapple, and top with shrimp and tortilla chips.
