  • 4 cups water, warm
  • 1/2 cups masa dough
  • 4 cups milk
  • 3 Mexican chocolate tablets
  • 2 sprigs peppermint

  • Blend the water and corn dough until dissolved. Set aside.
  • Place the milk, table chocolate, and mint in a pot. Cook for 10 minutes or until the chocolate dissolves. Remove the mint sprigs.Pour in the water with the dough and cook for 15 more minutes or until the atole thickens.
  • Serve the chocolate mint atole in a cup and decorate with mint leaves.
