Homemade Chai Tea

Delicious hot beverage made with dairy and spices. Tasty and very rich that you can prepare yourself.

  • 1 liter cow's milk
  • 1 sprig cinnamon
  • 1/2 tablespoons ground cloves
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1 piece piloncillo , medium or 4 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence

  • Heat the milk in a small pot or clay pot along with the cinnamon and piloncillo or sugar.
  • When it reaches a boil, lower the heat and add the pepper, vanilla, and ground cloves.
  • Let it simmer for 5 minutes on low heat and turn off the stove.
  • Serve hot.
