Pot coffee is a spiced drink, as it has a touch of cinnamon and piloncillo, making it perfect to accompany your sweet bread or breakfast.If you want to give your coffee a boost, feel free to add a citrus touch of orange, cloves, and star anise, as well as a Nespresso® Mexico Capsule to elevate the flavors to the next level.

  • 1 liter water, for the concentrate
  • 1 piloncillo , large, for the concentrate
  • 3 sprigs cinnamon, for the concentrate
  • 6 star anise pods, for the concentrate
  • 6 cloves, for the concentrate
  • 3 orange peels, for the concentrate
  • 1 Nespresso® Mexico capsule

  • For the concentrate: Place the water, piloncillo, cinnamon, star anise, cloves, and orange peel in a pot.
  • Heat until it begins to boil.
  • Let it cool.
  • Pour 150 ml of the concentrate into a cup.
  • Add a Nespresso® Mexico Capsule (230 ml) and enjoy your pot coffee.
