Cream Punch is a typical Venezuelan drink during the Christmas season that is prepared artisanally. This creamy sweet concoction is made with eggs, condensed milk, whole milk, and of course contains alcohol.
Beat the egg yolks. Add the yolks to the milk, the lemon zest. Then a teaspoon of vanilla and nutmeg to taste. Keep stirring with a wooden spoon, and it should always be kept at low temperature to avoid coagulating the yolks.
Wait for it to rest for a while and for the liquid temperature to drop a bit, at which point it should be somewhat thick.
Add the condensed milk, the rum, and mix well. If you feel it has lumps, you can use a blender.
Taste and check that it has the desired liquor flavor; if not, add more alcohol as needed.
