Rice Horchata Water

Refreshing rice horchata water ideal for hot days. Serve it with plenty of ice and enjoy a typical Mexican drink that everyone will love.

  • 1 cup white rice, raw and washed
  • 1 can condensed milk, (397 grams)
  • 1 can evaporated milk, (378 grams)
  • 2 water
  • cinnamon sticks, to taste
  • sugar, to taste
  • ice cubes, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence

  • Heat half a liter of water in a pot. When it starts to boil, remove from heat and add the rice. Let the rice soak for at least one hour.
  • Put the rice along with the water it was soaked in the blender and blend until everything is well ground. Transfer the mixture to a large pitcher.
  • Add the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, one and a half liters of water, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Stir until well combined.
