Wash the ginger root and cut a slice of approximately 1 cm in diameter and 1 mm thick. Remove the skin from the half slice of pineapple and cut the latter into cubes.
Place the ginger slice in a shaker and muddle it with a pestle. Add the pineapple cubes and muddle them until you get a puree.
Add the ice cubes, vodka, and syrup.
Put the lid on the shaker and shake for 10 seconds.
Strain the mixture into a cocktail glass with a strainer. Place the pineapple triangle for decoration.
