  • 1 1/2 liters water
  • 1/4 cups piloncillo
  • 1/4 cups hibiscus flower
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4 cloves
  • 1/2 cups prunes
  • 1 piece (if it appears in the ingredient) sugarcane
  • 2 apples, in wedges
  • 3 guavas, in wedges
  • 1 cup tejocote
  • rum

  • Place the water, piloncillo, hibiscus concentrate, cinnamon stick, cloves, prunes, and sugarcane in a pot and heat for 5 minutes.
  • Add the apple, guava, and tejocote and cook for 15 minutes or until the fruit is soft.
  • Serve the punch with a kick in a cup and add a bit of rum.
