Red Fruit Punch with Wine

Give your Christmas punch a different twist with a touch of red wine and red fruits like strawberries, blackberries, plums, and raspberries.

  • 4 liters water
  • 1 orange
  • 1 cup strawberry
  • 1 cup blueberry, in halves
  • 1 cup plum
  • 1 cup piloncillo
  • 2 star anise pods
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 cups red wine

  • Pour the red wine into a pot with boiling water and let it boil for 5 minutes.
  • Add the orange peel to the pot with the wine and boiling water.
  • Add the halved, cleaned, and disinfected red fruits. Cook for 10 minutes.
  • Add the cinnamon, star anise, and cloves.
  • If you want a sweet punch, you can add the piloncillo, stir, and cook until dissolved.
